Why We Created ELECTRONADE™: When Hydration Needed a Spark

Some ideas begin in a boardroom. Ours began on a soccer field.

Running a busy soccer facility gave us a front-row seat to something interesting.

After games, players would walk off the field tired, thirsty, and looking for something refreshing. Some reached for traditional sports drinks because they wanted electrolytes. Others preferred sparkling water because they loved the crisp, refreshing taste.

And then we noticed something unexpected.

Some players were mixing the two.

They wanted the hydration of a sports drink—but they also wanted the refreshing experience of something sparkling.

That raised a simple question:

Why should they have to choose?

The Idea Behind Electronade

That question eventually became the inspiration for Electronade™.

We wanted to create something different: a sparkling lemonade with electrolytes that wasn’t designed simply around what people should drink after activity.

We wanted to create something they would actually want to drink.

Something refreshing.

Something lightly sparkling.

Something with the familiar brightness of lemonade.

And something designed with electrolytes for those moments when hydration matters.

Because we believe a hydration drink shouldn’t feel like a chore.

Hydration should be something you crave.

From an Idea to a Can

What started as an observation at our soccer facility has grown into a much bigger journey.

We’re developing flavors, refining recipes, working on packaging, listening to athletes and everyday consumers, and building Electronade one decision at a time.

And we’re still at the beginning.

This blog is where we’re going to share that journey—the ideas, experiments, flavors, behind-the-scenes moments, wins, mistakes, and stories that happen along the way.
